With a string of rapid-fire solo outings on Monorail Trespassing, Hooker Vision, Goldtimers, Sacred Phrases and Lava Church alongside recent splits with Cough Cool, Potions and Kevin Greenspon, it's no surprise that Roman's first official long player as Sky Stadium serves as his most grandiose statement to date.

"Freely Without" is the expression of time, a week in a room free of thoughts (freely without). What has been produced and recorded for others is that journey. It is a combination of the darkness and light, purity and impurity, imperfection and seeking balance. The pulse of "Electronic Reef" skips a beat in purposeful fashion to identify with my imperfection. The pain of "In All" is the pain I feel from time to time. "To Ascend" is to let go, and on "I Take In The World's Pain" I'm left with this hope that I can help people out and take away something that bothers them, and keep it inside myself. Hopefully this tape channels those feelings and provides comfort for some, and discomfort for others. It's new, a new arrival, and something realistic. It is honesty, which is all I can ever hope for.
